Sorry, ~manic-pixie real trade coming later today/tomorrow. Just did this one because the other one was taking longer than I expected AND I SEEM TO HAVE HORRIBLE ADD OR SOMETHING. Also, I like the characters.

Haggard, stubbly Russian fellow is ~manic-pixie's character, Niko Molokov. Scowly red-head is *auryn's Jean Paul Rousseau, whom she graciously granted me permission to try my hand at.... Don't tell anyone, but I like to draw pissy-looking muscley guys with long hair, pointy ears, and thick lips.

Shhh, it's a secret.

Holy hell that was..THAT WAS FAST. And this is awesome. You freaking draw JP better than I do, and now I'm in looooove with it! I think JP is all put off and 'Oh shit how do I get away from this guy?", because he doesn't like people.

I'm used to working on MADCORE ANIMATION STUDENT DEADLINES where you only get to sleep twice a week and don't even have time to buy groceries, so over the summer I just crank stuff out like crazy....

shading's nothing special, supa-quick cell-shading is the only colouring style that can keep up with the speed that I crank art out at.

I just love drawing muscles =P I left any semblance of reference back in Ontario when I came back to Manitoba for the summer so I'd have to practise doing stuff from memory more. I think my structure got kind of sloppy for a while, but it seems to be coming together again...
