SO, for the people who haven't been watching my site, I'm moving to California in about a week. As such, I'm probably gonna have a hard time getting comics drawn during the move and am doing a Call for guest strips if anyone is interested.

IN OTHER NEWS, a friend of mine from the Ugly Americans crew is a member of the group Style5 Animation. They're trying to drum up support for a totally sweet looking animated noir thriller called "The Wrong Block" they're putting together. You guys should check it put and pass the word along so they can get the support to let the project grow!

Still collecting Barbarians in honour of Frank Frazetta

I'm trying to get as many people as I can to draw barbarians and post them online. If you're of the art-inclined persuasion at all, make one and pass the news on to anyone you know who would be interested. I figure it's a fitting tribute. Not just DA, people you know on other art sites, LJ, Tegaki, webcomic forums, anywhere you can think of.

If you can get people to make them, send me a link, Or just post them directly to Barbarians-for-Frank, I'm putting together a collection. If you get people to post them somewhere other than DA, give me the head's up, I've also got a directory to them all over here.

HEY GUYS! I just wanted to take this opportunity to point you towards the DA sites of some of the other guys who work on the Ugly Americans crew, mostly because I just tracked a few more down yesterday.

Currently one of the board artists on the episodes we're making for October, radcore inker and comicsmith in general. If you're planning on hitting up TCAF this weekend, he'll be there selling his wares, so you can go pick up a copy of Don River for yourself.


GO VOTE FOR HIS ZUDA STUFF. Oh man, he is super fucking talented at this comicking business. He's another one of our board guys right now. Actually, a lot of you may recognize his HellCallie picture I see floating around whenever people bring up awesome Ugly Americans art.

OH MAN I almost forgot to add her because I take it for granted that we're classmates and buddies and hang out on non-work days. She's on the animation team too, coming back for the new episodes when the moving pictures part gets underway.


So go forth and lavish them all with attention, because lawd knows they deserve it.
